The Natural Mosaic is Here! Habitus Cork Mosaic Tile is the forward-looking green finish material! And like all cork products; Cork Mosaic is a renewable resource. It is literally recycled from the wine stopper industry from Spain and Portugal. Chips are fashioned by hand on sheets and installed to walls and floors using mortar adhesive and finishing grout. Similar procedures as for any typical ceramic or other mosaic tiles. It can also be stained colors and finishes in many ways using typical products available on the market.

Did you know? Cork is an environmentally sound material. It comes from the bark of a Mediterranean oak tree. The trees are not destroyed and then replanted, but rather trimmed nine years or so, leaving the forest undamaged. Its not unusual to have a 200 year old tree still producing cork bark. Cork has many features; it is warm, anti-bacterial, water resistant, sound abating and very durable. We're proud to offer green living solutions that better quality of our lives.

Kaleido Toki is a ceramic series produced from natural clay, decorated and hand-engraved by artisans in Italy. Offered in many sizes and shapes, the series is decorated using rich pigments that are allowed to dry in open air before being fired in a kiln. A wonderful depth in colour is achieved, providing for the possibility to create chic vibrant surfaces. Kaleido Toki Mosaics (as shown) features an even height but randomly shaped distinctive pattern. Straight rows of shard-like fragments offer the discipline of Italian design but with organic disorder. Available in a range of colours, mosaics tiles are arranged on mesh and supplied on 12" x 12" sheets.

Habitus "Tessuto in Sughero" Cork Fabric for Wall Covering and Upholstery. Featuring the Minore series. a striated pattern finished in a series of natural stains and fabric backed with metallic (such as gold leaf) or simply 100% cotton. This material is inherently anti-bacterial and thermally & acoustically insulative. Available in rolls measuring 57" wide, and in a variety of natural textures, styles and colors. Terre del Cielo or "Heavens Earth" is a handcrafted ceramic tile series originating from the Amalfi Coast in Italy. Produced from natural cotto, the collection provides for rich and crystallized colours reminiscent of the Mediterranean. Each piece is a unique work of art, no two pieces are alike, providing for an authentic and beautiful variation. Featuring 12 colours and a multitude of sizes and shapes including squared and rectangle formats (such as 4" x 4" to 16" x 16" or 4" x 8" to 8" x 16", with a thickness around 1/2" to 3/4"). Suitable for application to floors and walls, for residential and commercial projects.
